Marilyn Hulsey is a Consultant with Right Management’s Florida/Caribbean Region.

Organizational Experience
Marilyn Hulsey is an accomplished senior human resources executive who guides Right Management’s clients on talent issues to strengthen culture, performance, and profitability. In more than 25 years as a corporate leader, she has designed and implemented proven initiatives to meet business goals in industries including agriculture, retail, transportation, marketing and media. Marilyn brings clients wide-ranging strategic perspective, drawing on her experience in international talent and career management, employee relations, process improvement, learning and development, compensation, total rewards, as well as financial management, and information systems.

Business/Organizational Leadership Experience
Prior to Right Management, Marilyn was Vice President, Human Resources for Catalina Marketing Corporation in St. Petersburg, a marketing and digital media firm with more than 1200 employees and operations in the U.S., Europe and Japan. In that role for over 12 years, she led the HR services team and counseled senior leaders on all people-related issues. She established education and manager coaching on progressive discipline, firm-wide restructuring, and employee severance, managed all aspects of employee satisfaction measurement and was responsible for minimizing the firm’s exposure to legal regulatory activity related to workforce issues.

Previously, for Tampa-based Lykes Bros. Inc., a diversified firm that is one of the nation’s largest corporate landowners, she served in leadership positions including Director of Training and Development and Director of Strategic Projects. Earlier in her career, she was Director, Management Information Systems for Sun Carriers, Inc., a $500 million group of transportation companies. Marilyn has also been successful with her own entrepreneurial ventures.

Education and Training
Marilyn received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from the University of Cincinnati and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Active in the community, she served as a board member and is past president of the board and chair of the Governance Committee for the SPCA Tampa Bay. She was a member of the fundraising committee for the SPCA’s Fur Ball Gala, “Hooray for Hollywoof”, which raised over $230,000 for that organization and is currently on the fundraising committee for The Fairytale Ball, a gala to support My Fairy Godfathers Foundation, that honors young women in the Tampa Bay area struggling with cancer, domestic abuse/violence, or trauma.
